I used to cleanout my temporary files with the Disk cleanup about once a month. All of a sudden i notice i have to clean it about every day. it starts running slow if i don't and notcie the temp files have close to 60,000 to 80,000 kb's in a day's time. Never noticed this before and wonder why all of a sudden it builds up so fast. Also office files are really big , but i have never deleted or cleaned. Not a whiz at this by any means just curious.digit

Left running overnight withthe RX odds and had over 100,000kp on the temporay files. Deleted them and now running good again. it never used to do this before. I'm having to clean temporary files twice a day to keep running fast.

Go to start, run and type in msconfig. Disable any items in the startup tab that you don't need. Most likely it is one of those programs slowing you down.

Seems to be working a little better, the only thing i was concerned with was the temporary files building up so fast. Used to look into disk cleanup and it would show about 9000 after aweek. Now, after one day it shows over 75,000. Of coarse i don't know waht that means other than the fact the more higher the number the more the computer seems to slow down. thanks

Noticed today my office set up files are over 100,000 kb's.It tells me not to delete however i just use this for mail and browsing. Wouldn't know how to do anything else.Is there any reason for me to delete these and will it run smoother and faster?:ohno:
